Meet you where you are. 

We want to get to know you and understand your specific goals and challenges. By listening to you and hearing about your week, we can create strategies that'll best support you.

Teach you how to think differently.

Losing weight is about changing certain lifestyle behaviors, and that includes changing old ways of thinking that get in the way of success. Being able to change habits you've had your whole life isn't easy, but you can do it, and we'll show you how.

Help you plan and overcome challenges.

We are all about helping you define the details so you can turn good intentions into action! Learning how to make solid plans (and back-up plans) is one of the most important skills for long-term weight management.

Keep you accountable and feeling supported. 

If you tell us you're going to try out a new fitness class or a particular recipe, the next time we talk, we'll be asking how it went without any judgement ever. Plus, we'll give you custom challenges each week designed to support your personal goals. When hurdles arise and challenges seem to get in the way, we'll be there to guide you, share ideas, tweak your plan, and check-in to support you. You'll also get support from others in your group who are going through the program along with you, as you all share ideas, strategies, encouragement, and how you've overcome obstacles along the way.

Focus on success. 

Losing weight and keeping it off means making lifestyle changes. And we'll make sure you're staying on the track of progress with positive changes - like getting in all of your fruits and veggies and physical activity - no matter what the scale says each week.

HOW TO JOIN COACHING

People who participate in a coaching group lose almost twice as much weight as those who follow the plan on their own.* Plus, it's included with Phase 1 and Phase 2 subscription plans, so why not give it a try?! 

If you have a Phase 1 or Phase 2 subscription plan, it's easy to join a free group:

  1. Check the Phase 1 coaching schedule OR the Phase 2 coaching schedule, depending on your plan.
  2. Find a day/time that will work for you on a weekly basis
  3. Email us at customerservice@hmrprogram.com and tell us which session you'd like to attend (e.g. Phase 1 on Mondays at 7pm ET).
  4. We'll reserve your spot and follow-up with the details!  

If you don't have a subscription plan yet, we'll be here to support you, however you need it, when you're ready to join the program


WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE COACHING SESSIONS

The basic logistics:

  • Weekly coaching sessions take place on Zoom and are 45 minutes long.
  • There are separate groups for each plan.
    • Phase 1 groups help you stick to the structured Phase 1 meal plan for fast, consistent weight loss. 
    • Phase 2 groups focus on building healthier habits around diet and exercise for long-term lifestyle change.
  • Groups have between 10-20 people in them.
  • Once you choose a day/time that works for you, you'll have the same coach and be with the same group of people each week.  
  • Having your camera on is highly preferred, but if you would rather use audio only, that's ok too.
  • HMR groups have rolling enrollment, so when you join as a new member, you'll be able to listen to and learn from others who have been in the group for a while—this can help you get comfortable with how the coach works with the group as a whole and with people individually. 
  • If your schedule ever changes or you'd just like to join a different group, you can always change your group to one that works best for you.

     

What to expect each week:

  • Your weekly sessions allow you to connect with a group of people who can relate to your struggles, keep you accountable to your goals, and keep you motivated every step of the way.
  • The support you get from your coach and fellow group members is always nonjudgmental and helps you move beyond your comfort zone to get the results you're looking for. 
  • Your coach will introduce a new topic or theme each week, and the group will discuss ideas and strategies for dealing with challenges around upcoming holidays or events, or more general strategies, such as simple recipes to keep things interesting, staying on the plan during tough times, travel tips, creating a supportive home environment, and more. If you're struggling with something, you can bring it to the group.
  • You'll receive a personalized goal or focus area for the week. Your coach will help you work on skills like planning ahead, prepping your food, trying something new, and finding ways to fit in some form of exercise—all in ways that work for you.
  • You can participate as much or as little as you like. Some weeks, you may just want to listen in for new ideas. Other times, you may want to lean on the group to help you handle a challenge you may be facing. It's a very supportive environment—no judgments, ever. Everyone is here for each other and truly care about one another's success.
